omg hi!!

i’m marigo bay, a belgian-american singer-songwriter, pop-rock artist, and lifelong lover of a good story, preferably one that can be turned into a song.

i grew up between belgium and the usa, spent a very formative chunk of my life in london, and have been writing, recording and performing ever since. these days, you’ll find me somewhere between belgium, london and the usa, usually with a microphone in one hand and a song idea in the other.

i write about real life: love, heartbreak, growing up, questionable decisions, overthinking, and all the little things that somehow become songs. my own music leans pop-rock but i enjoy stripping the music back sometimes for intimate and acoustic storytelling. i’ve always loved the magic of a great live performance too, whether that’s playing an intimate wedding ceremony, singing a first dance, or getting on stage with my band and making a room very, very loud.

along the way, i’ve had the chance to work with some incredible artists and producers, including ozark henry, robin schulz, kid noize and wave wave, and perform across belgium, london and the usa.

at the heart of it all, i’m just a songwriter who really likes people, stories, loud guitars, big choruses, and probably overthinks everything just enough to write a song about it. i also love dogs and kinder buenos.
